You call ever so often and have met with me once. You cant stop saying how our child is ugly by looking at the ultrasound. You want me to sign full paternal rights to you so that you dont have to go to iraq? are you serious? when i refuse you start saying that you will walk in the hospital and take him. you have no rights at this point do you realize that? it hasnt been proven that he is yours. i have been more than fair and have tried to include you in everything but your gf and the booze hold your attention. as far as the parental thing, get a life, you think you are the only soldier that is faced with something like this? my bro-in-law didnt get to meet his son untill his 1st bday, he missed all that but he is still a good father. there are female soldiers that give birth and then have to go into battle and leave their child that they carried for almost 10 months with some family member. YOU are not a special case, YOU do not matter more than those MANY others that are or have gone thru what you are facing but for you to ask me to give up my child. you blame your drinking on me bc your worried? you act as if you are the only one stressed and with things going wrong in life. Life isnt easy but if you feel that missing the firsts in this childs life calls for you to not be involved ever, then all I can say is do what you must. This child wil know love like no other and as for you and your group thinking im weak, you dont know me as well as you think you do!
